Geocore AS has extended the contract with Concedo AS.
This implies that our exploration capacity is fully booked until end of 2025.
Within this project Geocore has been assigned dedicated areas on NCS screening for new exploration targets. This implies exploration for hydrocarbons, defining leads, mature into prospects and contribute to a full prospect evaluation, special studies and application writing.
In addition, Geocore is also contributing in production licenses improving seismic data quality and performing specific evaluations on demand.
Geocore AS participated in the PETROMAKS2 project "Assimilating 4D Seismic Data: Big Data Into Big Models" run by NORCE from 2019 throughout 2022 (NORCE project page).
The main contribution in the project is within seismic modelling, implementing a sim2seis workflow from reservoir simulation model to full 4D seismic cubes.
Geocore AS ran a 3 years research project on ultra shallow seismic through the regional research fund "Regionale forskningsfond - Vestlandet". The project was run from 2017 to 2020.
